WILTON, CT, September 7, 2011 – Commonfund, a prominent investment manager for institutional investors including pension funds and endowments and foundations, among other investors, today announced the appointment of Lou Ann Dolan as Managing Director, Group Head of Consultant Relations.

Ms. Dolan will assume the leadership of an experienced team of Commonfund consultant relationship managers.
Ms. Dolan has over 35 years of institutional investment experience. Before joining Commonfund, Ms. Dolan was with Trust Company of the West where she was responsible for consultant relations for traditional and alternative investment mandates. Her prior experience has also included J.P. Morgan Investment Management where she managed a U.S. consultant relations program. Prior to that, she spent over 15 years as an investment consultant, first with William Mercer, Incorporated and then with Callan Associates. She earned a B.A. in French from Ursinus College cum laude and an M.B.A. in Finance from New York University.
