Core to Commonfund’s mission is a commitment to conduct and publish proprietary research and analysis and to share best practices in governance and investment management through a variety of publications throughout the year. Some of the publications include:
- | Commonfund’s highly acclaimed magazine, published twice annually with content focused on a broad range of investment and policy issues of particular importance to trustees and senior investment and financial staff of institutional investors.
- | An annual peer review of nonprofit institutions detailing their asset allocation, spending, performance, and governance strategies. In a historic partnership beginning in 2009, the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) and Commonfund Institute combined their respective endowment studies to conduct a joint benchmark study for educational endowments. Apart from NACUBO, Commonfund Institute continues to provide studies for foundations, healthcare organizations and operating charities as well as customized studies for participants.
- | Investment research reports and white papers developed and published throughout the year by our investment personnel and senior staff. These research reports cover topics such as portfolio planning, investment policy setting, the current market environment as well as economic and political developments affecting nonprofit organizations today.
