Across the United States, citizens are gathering to protest the unjust deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery; each of these individuals fell victim to police brutality and racial discrimination. Protestors are calling for extensive police reform and an end to systemic racism.
We also understand that to move forward and become a more inclusive and unbiased society, individuals must converse, self-reflect and educate themselves on systemic racism and the racial injustices many Americans continue to face today. Commonfund’s Diversity and Inclusion Office (DIO) has created a compendium of resources for our staff to actively engage in this movement.
We are sharing this resource with our broader community in case it can be helpful to those looking for guidance, support, and modes of reflection, education, and action. This resource guide is not exhaustive and is meant to be a starting point.
