On March 27, 2020, President Trump signed into law the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (the “CARES Act”), establishing the largest aid package in our nation’s history. The $2 trillion law, enacted in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, aims to support individuals and companies during this period of unprecedented economic disruption – and it has important implications for the nonprofit community.
