Norwalk, CT, October 14, 2026 – Commonfund OCIO, Commonfund’s Outsourced CIO solution for educational institutions, foundations and other nonprofit organizations, today announced the appointment of Paula Robinson to the role of Managing Director, leading the firm’s public equity investment programs. Robinson joins from Willis Towers Watson (WTW), where she most recently served as Global Head of Equity Portfolio Solutions.
Robinson will be responsible for Commonfund OCIO’s public equity investment programs, including manager research, portfolio construction, and investment oversight across global equity strategies. She succeeds Mark Bennett, who is departing the firm at the end of the year after a long and successful tenure.
“We are thrilled to welcome Paula to Commonfund OCIO,” said Julia Mord, CIO of Commonfund OCIO. “Her extensive experience in public equity investing, manager selection and portfolio construction will be invaluable as we seek to deliver investment solutions for our clients. We thank Mark for his many contributions to the firm over the last 28 years and wish him the best in his next chapter.”
At WTW, Robinson led a 17-person global equity manager research team responsible for evaluating investment managers across U.S., international, emerging markets and quantitative equity strategies. She served as a Portfolio Manager within WTW's global equity platform, representing approximately $22 billion in assets under management.
Prior to WTW, Robinson spent over a decade at Buck Consultants, where she led U.S. manager research across asset classes, overseeing research supporting approximately $90 billion in advised assets.
“I am excited to join Commonfund OCIO and contribute to a firm with such a strong history of serving endowments, foundations and other mission-driven institutions,” said Robinson. “I look forward to working alongside the team to help clients navigate an increasingly complex investment landscape and achieve their long-term objectives.”
