Mark Bennett is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Investment team and is primarily responsible for asset allocation, manager sourcing, due diligence, and investment monitoring for investment portfolios. Prior to joining Commonfund, Mark was an Investment Consultant for defined benefit services at CIGNA Retirement and Investment Services. He was an asset allocation analyst and consultant for CIGNA-Connecticut General Pension Services, Inc. Previously, Mark was a benefit technician for CIGNA Retirement and Investment Services. He received a B.S. from Bryant College and his M.B.A. from the University of Hartford. Mark is a CFA charterholder and is a member of the Hartford Society of Financial Analysts and the CFA Institute.

Carolyn Blanch is a member of Commonfund Asset Management Company and is primarily responsible for risk management, compliance and due diligence oversight with respect to Commonfund’s funds and sub-advisors and working with senior management to develop, monitor and implement strategic business issues, policies and procedures as well as daily operations. Prior to her current role, Carolyn worked in several areas of Commonfund including the Legal group and Commonfund Capital. Prior to joining Commonfund, Carolyn was a Senior Paralegal at the law firm of Ackerly & Associates. Carolyn holds a B.S. from Sacred Heart University with a focus in Business and Legal Administration.

Jason Casey is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Investment team with a primary focus on research and analytics providing both quantitative and qualitative due diligence on investments and managers. Prior to joining Commonfund, Jason worked in the Trust Department for Citibank’s Private Bank. Jason received his B.S. in Chemistry from Yale University and a M.B.A. from the University of Rochester’s Simon Graduate School of Business.

Olga Chiriac is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Investment team and is primarily responsible for assisting in investment monitoring, rebalancing and reporting for investment portfolios with a focus in fixed income and credit strategies. Prior to joining Commonfund, Olga was with Telekurs Financial USA as an Assistant Manager for Corporate Fixed Income. While at Telekurs she was responsible for the oversight of corporate bond market coverage, corporate actions and pricing support. Olga received her B.S. and her M.B.A. from the University of Bridgeport.

John Delano is Head of Commonfund Asset Management Research and Analytics and leads the team responsible for quantitative analysis of investments and managers. He also serves as a member of both the Commonfund Asset Management Investment and the Commonfund Asset Allocation Committees. Prior to joining Commonfund, John was a consultant in Global Public Opinion Research at Altria Corporate Services and a research assistant at Columbia University′s Institute of Social and Economic Research and Policy. Prior to that, he worked as a media buyer at Horizon Media, using statistical analysis to forecast audience deliveries for television commercials. John has a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Chicago and an M.A. in Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences from Columbia University. He also holds the Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF).

Caroline Greer is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Investment team and is primarily responsible for hedge fund manager due diligence and for diverse manager investments across asset classes. Caroline currently serves as a member of the Commonfund Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Office and is also a member of the Commonfund Asset Allocation Committee. Prior to joining Commonfund, she served as a Partner and Principal for Contego Capital Management, LLC, specializing in customized funds of hedge funds. She was responsible for sourcing, evaluating and monitoring hedge fund managers across a full range of strategies. Prior to joining Contego, Caroline was a Senior Vice President for Oppenheimer and Co. where she co-managed their funds of hedge funds program and monitored Oppenheimer’s private equity fund. Caroline began her career at Montrose Advisors, a boutique financial advisor specializing in managing customized funds of hedge funds and private equity and venture capital portfolios. In 2015, Caroline was named one of the 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds globally by The Hedge Fund Journal. Caroline received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Toronto, and an M.A. and M.Phil. from Columbia University of New York.

Vincent Kravec is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Investment team and is primarily responsible for investment monitoring, manager sourcing, rebalancing and reporting for investment portfolios with a focus in fixed income and credit strategies. Prior to joining Commonfund, Vincent was with Lazard Asset Management as a member of the Fixed Income operations staff. While at Lazard he was a trading assistant on the Emerging Markets team. He was also a supervisor in Fixed Income Accounting and had responsibilities in trading operations involving allocating trades and resolving trade problems for corporates, treasuries, municipals, asset backs and FX trading desks. Previous experience includes positions at Morgan Stanley, Alliance Capital and Evaluation Associates. Vincent earned his M.B.A. in from New York University’s Stern School of Business and his B.A. from Fairfield University. He is also a CFA charterholder.

Jason Platzer is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Investment team and is primarily responsible for asset allocation, portfolio construction, manager sourcing, rebalancing, due diligence, and investment monitoring and reporting for equity portfolios. He began his career as a private capital accountant for Commonfund Capital before working as a fund accountant on the Operations team. Jason then spent many years working in a hybrid role at the intersection of hedge funds, quantitative research and analytics, and risk management. He holds a B.S. in Finance, Summa Cum Laude and an MBA in Finance with Distinction, both from Mercy College. Jason also holds an MSc in History (with Merit) from The University of Edinburgh.

Paul Von Steenburg is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Investment team and is primarily responsible for asset allocation, manager sourcing, due diligence, and investment monitoring for investment portfolios with a focus in real asset strategies and private real estate investments. He serves as a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Investment Committee. Paul also serves on advisory boards of the firm’s investment managers. Prior to joining Commonfund, Paul was a Vice President in the consulting division of Wilshire Associates, where he advised institutional investors. Paul was also the Chair of Wilshire’s Hedge Fund Committee, where he was responsible for conducting research and providing advice on the selection of hedge fund managers. Prior to Wilshire, Paul worked in equity research for Waddell & Reed Asset Management. He also spent five years with the Instinet Group as Manager of the Global Correspondent Trading Group. Paul earned a M.B.A in Finance from Cornell SC Johnson College of Business and a B.S. from Rutgers University. Paul also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designations.

Betsy Wilson is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Investment team and is primarily responsible for investment monitoring, rebalancing and reporting for investment portfolios. Prior to joining Commonfund, she was an analyst for a consumer-based long/short equity hedge fund. While in Dallas, she was an Assistant Vice President and analyst with Westwood Management, a large-cap value fund with over $4 billion in assets under management. At Westwood, she was responsible for industry/company analysis and issuing stock recommendations across multi-cap products. Betsy is a CFA charterholder and is a member of the Stamford CFA Society and the CFA Institute. She received her undergraduate degree and M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

Rachel Clivaz is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Investment team and is primarily responsible for providing support in portfolio and specialized analysis as well as day-to-day operations for clients. Prior to joining Commonfund, Rachel attended undergraduate school at Fordham University where she graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration and a minor in Mathematics.

Prior to joining Commonfund, Brian worked as a product analyst for IPREO. Brian received B.S. in Business Management from Bentley University and his M.B.A. in Finance from Fordham University.

Ryan Driscoll is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Investment team and is focused on macroeconomic research. Ryan serves as the investment officer for the firm’s Multi-Asset Portfolio investors and is also responsible for the design, tailoring, and implementation of custom investment solutions for Treasury clients. Prior to joining Commonfund, Ryan worked at Sailfish Capital Partners, a multi-strategy fixed income fund, where he served on the Emerging Markets team. Prior to that, he was on the fixed income team at Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo & Co. and was an equity/fixed income trader at Loring, Wolcott and Coolidge, in Boston. Ryan received his B.S. in Finance and M.S. in Global Financial Analysis (with Distinction) from Bentley University. He is a CFA Charterholder and is a member of the Boston Securities Analyst Society and CFA Institute.

Joseph Falcha is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Investment team and is primarily responsible for the design, tailoring, and implementation of custom investment solutions for clients. Prior to joining Commonfund, he was an Investment Advisor for Drax Asset Management, LLC ─ an investment management firm. Joe was responsible for advising high net worth individuals and non-profit organizations, conducting research, executing trades and developing new business. Prior to Drax, he spent several years working for Hartford Financial and MetLife Financial in a variety of different consulting and service roles. Joe received his B.S. in Business Management from Albertus Magnus College and holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst designation. He is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association.

Prior to joining Commonfund, Kelso was with Crossroad Capital Partners, SEI Investments, and Bankers Trust Company, where he focused on private capital investments, including private equity, project finance and real estate. He has a B.S.E. and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Anthony Peretore is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Investment team and is responsible for the design, tailoring and, implementation of custom investment solutions for clients through asset allocation recommendations, portfolio oversight and analysis, and tactical rebalancing of client portfolios. Prior to joining Commonfund, he worked as a convertible securities analyst for BCP Securities in Greenwich, CT. His primary responsibilities included analyzing company credit profiles and capital structures, making security recommendations and establishing new client relationships. Anthony received his B.A. in Political Science and a Business minor from Saint Joseph’s University. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designations.

Jennifer Seidler is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Investment team is primarily responsible for the design, tailoring, and implementation of custom investment solutions for clients. Prior to joining Commonfund, Jennifer managed corporate investment portfolios for RBC Wealth Management and Credit Suisse Securities (USA) in San Francisco. Her previous experience includes working with institutional bank clients on investment strategies and portfolios with Banc Investment Group LLC. Jennifer began her career at Banc of America Securities in the loan syndications group and also was part of an investment strategies team. She serves as a member of the Finance Council for St. Dominic’s Church (SF) and is Board Emeritus on the Board of African Library Project where she was Treasurer for four years. Jennifer holds a B.S. in Economics from Santa Clara University, an M.S. in Financial Analysis and an M.B.A. from University of San Francisco.

Steve Snyder is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Investment team and is primarily responsible for the design, tailoring and implementation of custom investment solutions for clients through asset allocation recommendations, portfolio oversight and analysis, and tactical rebalancing of portfolios. He previously served as the head of relationship management for Commonfund’s non-advisory investors. Prior to joining Commonfund, he was a Cash Management Consultant supporting the education industry for CoreStates Bank, N.A., and First Union National Bank in Philadelphia. Steve currently serves on the Investment Committees of the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and recently completed several terms as an Investment Committee member for Lancaster County Community Foundation. He is also a member of the President’s Business Council at the University of Scranton. Steve has a B.S. in Finance from the University of Scranton.

Nancy Kiernan Bard is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Relationship team and is responsible for overseeing relationship management for all outsourced CIO clients. Nancy has over 25 years of experience in investments and client service. Previously, she was a member of the Client Sales and Service Team where she was responsible for managing client relationships and developing new business in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Prior to that Nancy held a series of roles in at the firm in Business Development and on the investment team. Before joining Commonfund, Nancy was a Research Associate at KR Capital Advisors, an equity investment manager and a corporate bond sales assistant at Lazard Freres & Co. She received a B.S. in Finance from Sacred Heart University. Nancy is a member of the Board for The Adam Wysota Foundation, a nonprofit that provides grief education and peer support to children and families.

Prior to joining Commonfund, Marc was a Vice President at Lehman Brothers Asset Management where he worked with institutional investors focusing on investment management and asset allocation. Prior to that Marc held a client service position at Neuberger Berman. He brings over a decade of experience in client service and investment management and holds a B.S. with a concentration in Accounting from Binghamton University and an M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance from Pace University.

Issa Brandt is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Sales and Service team with a focus on relationship management and provides client service to investors in the western region. Prior to joining Commonfund, Issa was a Relationship Manager in the U.S. Institutional Group at Allianz Global Investors (formerly RCM Capital Management LLC) where he was responsible for servicing the firm’s Corporate, Public, Union, Taft-Hartley, and Endowment & Foundation Clients beginning in 2000. While at Allianz Global Investors, Issa also coordinated with their global offices servicing the firm’s International client base. He holds a B.A. in Geography from California State University, Fresno.

Zoë Brizzolara is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Sales and Service team with a focus on relationship management and provides client service to investors in the western region. She brings over 20 years of experience in institutional asset management. Prior to joining Commonfund, Zoë was at Robeco working on business building and operational management. Before this she was at Investec Asset Management focusing on consultant relations in the Midwest and Southeast. She started her career in Boston at Oechsle International Advisors. She holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Hartford and a Masters in Communication Management from Simmons College.

David Claiborn is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Relationship team with a focus on requests for proposals or RFPs. He shares responsibility for responding to RFPs, Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), and to consultant requests. David is also responsible for creating new RFP responses and editing existing content. Prior to joining Commonfund, he was a Vice President and Senior Marketing and Branding Specialist at Barclays, and was responsible for writing and distributing weekly highlights, crafting and refining content, and internal education. Before joining Barclays, he was Vice President and Senior Client Service Specialist at O’Shaughnessy Asset Management, where he focused on servicing Institutional clients, writing commentaries and content for RFPs, and reviewing collateral. Previously, he was a Vice President and Product Manager for the Systematic team at Bear Stearns Asset Management, serving as a liaison between the portfolio management team and clients. David also held an Investment Specialist role at Citigroup Asset Management and eventually Legg Mason, and RFP positions at Deutsche Asset Management and Diversified Investment Advisors. David holds an M.B.A. in Marketing and a B.S. in Business Administration from Iona College.

Irene Collado is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Sales and Service team with a focus on relationship management for investors in the Northeast region. Prior to joining Commonfund, Irene worked for SimCorp as part of the North America presales team and, prior to that, in Copenhagen as part of the management team for validation and test services. Irene has also worked for Saxo Bank in Copenhagen as a relationship manager. Irene began her career with JPMorgan Chase, first in the Private Bank as part of the analyst to associate program and then with Worldwide Security Services as an Assistant Vice President servicing institutional clients. Irene holds a B.A. in Economics from Columbia University and an M.B.A from Copenhagen Business School.

Susan Durrell is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Sales and Service team with a focus on relationship management. In this capacity, she leads a team of relationship managers that support Commonfund investors across the country. Prior to joining Commonfund, Susan was an operations and investor relations manager for Capricorn Management, G.P., a private asset management firm, where her primary responsibilities included marketing and reporting functions with existing and new investors. Prior to Capricorn Management, she worked in the Sales and Operations Group in sales and client service at Interleaf, Inc. Susan has a B.A. from the University of Hartford and an M.B.A. in Finance with high honors from Sacred Heart University. She also served as a board member for the Easton Community Center and the Welch College of Business Economics and Finance Advisory Board for Sacred Heart University.
Sr. RFP Writer
Meredith Flynn is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Relationship team with a focus on requests for proposals or RFPs. She assists in responding to RFPs, Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), and to consultant requests. Prior to joining Commonfund, Meredith served as a lead Investment Analyst for Alameda County Employees’ Retirement Association (ACERA) for over six years. During that time, she supported the Board and Chief Investment Officer with her analysis, due diligence, and monitoring of private and public investment managers. Meredith also served as a Private Equity Investment Operations Analyst for North Carolina Department of State Treasurer where she was responsible for public reporting and the capital contributions and distributions of over one hundred funds. She has worked in institutional marketing and RFP roles for firms such as Baron Capital, Voya, Barclays Global Investors, and Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Meredith has also held private capital research roles at Jensen Partners and Korn Ferry. She earned her MBA degree in Finance and Marketing and her B.A. in Japanese Studies from the University of San Francisco. While earning her B.A. degree, Meredith studied at Sophia University in Tokyo and subsequently worked as a translator and interpreter for the Japanese Government in Kumamoto, Japan.

Michael Guido is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management team and is responsible for the management and development of outsourced CIO (OCIO) solutions across endowments, foundations and other philanthropic organizations in the eastern United States and eastern Canada. Prior to his current role, Mike was a member of the OCIO team as business strategist helping direct consultant relationships and working with the investment teams to develop investment strategies to meet client needs. When Mike joined Commonfund he managed Commonfund Realty's $600 million Endowment Realty Investors programs. As the COO of this two-fund program, he managed the acquisition, operation and sales process of over 25 investments, which were made through external sub-advisors. Prior to joining Commonfund, he worked as CFO of a real estate development company, he specialized in securing third-party debt and equity financing for the redevelopment of investment properties and marketing financial structured private real estate investment opportunities to high net worth individuals. He has a B.A. from Providence College and an M.S. from Fairfield University.

Lydia Hechter is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Relationship team with a focus on requests for proposals or RFPs. Lydia manages the team responsible for responding to RFPs, RFIs and DDQ’s. Early on in her career, Lydia spent five years at Lazard Asset Management as a VP of Central Marketing, responsible for all requests for proposals, due diligence questionnaires and maintenance and population of a number of consultant databases. From Lazard, Lydia moved on to Citigroup Asset Management and eventually Legg Mason where she spent six years in various roles with responsibility for the RFP function/team as well as execution and delivery of quarterly product commentaries for over 75 mutual funds and the firm’s separately managed equity, fixed income, fund-of-funds and quantitative strategies for both institutional and public clients. Lydia spent time at Oxford University studying Writing and Psychology and earned a B.A. in Writing and Developmental Psychology from Sarah Lawrence College.

Terry Hill is a member of the Commonfund OCIO business development team, responsible for OCIO solutions across endowments, foundations and other philanthropic organizations in the midwestern United States. Terry has over 15 years of institutional OCIO experience, previously heading up the midwestern OCIO business development effort with Bank of America/ Merrill Lynch and before that leading the Midwest team at Hirtle Callaghan. He earned his B.S. in Finance at Indiana University, a J.D. at DePaul University, and M.B.A. from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Business.

Amy Huang is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Sales and Service team with a focus on business development and is responsible for supporting the firm’s OCIO sales capabilities across endowments, foundations, healthcare organizations, and other non-profits. Prior to joining Commonfund, she gained marketing and business development experience through work in social ventures, non-profit healthcare organizations, and marketing agencies. Amy earned a BBA in Marketing Management from Baruch College.

Prior to joining Commonfund, Kara was a Client Service Associate for the Financial Institutions Group at Lazard Asset Management. Prior to joining Commonfund, she worked at Everstrong Capital, where she led business development in the U.S. and Investec Asset Management, where she was a member of the western U.S. institutional sales team. Nicole started her career at JPMorgan Asset Management, where she was a client portfolio manager on the Global Fixed Income and Currency team. She holds a B.A. in Government from Wesleyan University and a M.B.A from Duke University, The Fuqua School of Business, where she was a Robert Toigo fellow. Nicole formerly served on the Executive Committee for DukeNY Women’s Forum and is a current Board member for A Better Chance, Inc., where she also serves as chairperson on the National Advisory Council.

Meredith Messina is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Relationship team and provides relationship management to outsourced CIO clients. In her role, Meredith works with members of the investment team to assist in the implementation of custom solutions. Prior to her current role, she was a Managing Associate on the Relationship Management and Business Development teams, providing service support to existing clients and developing new business. She was also responsible for all client communications for these teams. Before joining Commonfund, Meredith worked for JAOtech Corporation as a Sales Engineer. She started her career as a Client Service Associate at UBS Financial Services in Boston, MA. Meredith received a B.S. in Finance from Bentley University.

Sean McDermott is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Sales and Service team working with investors primarily in the Southern region. He joined Commonfund in 2021 and has over 17 years of investment experience. Prior to joining Commonfund, Sean was an Executive Director and Portfolio Specialist at Morgan Stanley Investment Management in New York, NY. Previously, he was a Vice President and Relationship Manager with the Institutional Relationship Management team at Cohen and Steers Capital Management and was a Client Service and Sales Associate at Robeco Investment Management in New York, NY. He was also a member of the Legal Department for the City of Yonkers, NY working as Legal Aide/Assistant to the Corporation Counsel. Sean received a BA from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA and holds the Series 7, 31, and 63 registrations.

Laura Pollack is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Investment team with a focus on business development and is responsible for supporting the development of outsourced CIO solutions across endowments, foundations, healthcare organizations, family offices, insurance companies and pensions. Prior to joining Commonfund, she worked as a summer analyst at East Rock Capital, LLC., a multi-family office. She also spent a summer at Colgate Palmolive as a Global Talent Acquisition Intern. Laura earned a B.B.A. in Marketing and Information Systems & Operations Management from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.

Paige L. Rabalais is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Sales and Service team with a focus on business development and is responsible for the development of outsourced CIO solutions across endowments, foundations, healthcare organizations and other nonprofits in the southern United States. Prior to joining Commonfund, she managed institutional relationships with Neuberger Berman in New York, NY and Strategic Value Partners in Greenwich, CT. Previously, Paige was a senior regional marketing associate with Putnam Investment in Boston, MA. She earned a B.S. in Business Management from Babson College and an M.B.A. in Finance from Tulane University. Paige holds Series 6, 7, 30, 31, 63 and 65 licenses and has also been awarded the Chartered Alternatives Investment Analyst designation. She is currently a Director of the YWCA of the City of New York where she serves as co-chair of the investment committee. Paige is also a former board member of Oldfields School in Glencoe, MD where she served on the investment committee.

Lew Wallace is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Sales and Service team with a focus on relationship management to investors in the Southern region. Lew has over 15 years of higher education and financial services experience and, prior to joining Commonfund, Lew owned and operated a financial planning firm focused on investment management strategies for individuals and nonprofit organizations. Prior to that, he was an Assistant to the Mayor and Administrative Manager for the City of Danbury. Concurrently, Lew served 10 years as a State Representative in the Connecticut General Assembly on the Education Committee. He is the Chairman of the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut and a Board member of the Connecticut Humanities Council. Lew holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the College of William and Mary.
Senior Analyst
Beata Wantke is a member of the Commonfund Asset Management Sales and Service team with a focus on relationship management and is responsible for providing support to the relationship management team including customer service, reporting and project management. Prior to joining Commonfund, Beata worked at Investcorp International for over two years where she held roles in Marketing and Sales for their Hedge Fund Group. Prior to that, she worked at Deutsche Bank, Alternative Investment Group for over 10 years, where she held an Administrative Assistant role with heavy concentration on sales support. Beata obtained her B.A. in Business Studies with concentration in Finance from Pace University.
